Dear Mr. Kanye West

Dear Mr. West,

I have always been a fan of yours since you dropped College Dropout. “Through the Wire” touched my soul and spirit and motivated me to become a better person and follow my dreams through adversity. “All Falls Down” vocals hooked and mesmerized me and the video transfixed me with Stacy Dash as the star. Late Registration was an instant classic from my perspective and the beats had the sophistication and classiness that belong in the Louvre. Graduation’s audacious lyrics and “stadium status” sound were futuristic and visionary. “Big Brother”, “Flashing Lights”, “I Wonder”, “Stronger”, “Homecoming”, and “Glory” were tracks that “I let my tape (cd) rock till my tape (cd) popped”. Of course your music after Graduation was interesting and unique.

Stacy Dash-All Falls Down video

Fast forward, 11 years after the Graduation album, and you’re still making music, in addition, to expanding the (Ye) popular culture brand. You’re still representing a uniqueness that only brave ones are willing to follow and join in on. You have always been a free thinker and a trend setter and that is incontrovertible. The love that you have provided so many people, not only with your music, but with your charitable donations is something no one can dispute. Despite “Real Friends” (Rhymefest) who “talk down on your name”, and (Donda’s House), currently known as Art of Culture, Inc. parting ways with you over a silly Twitter beef, you continue to help individuals and society as a whole with your thinking and courage.

Despite your (so called) mental health struggles you continue to be a successful business man working with Adidas and thriving within the fashion industry. Your mental health situation is greatly exaggerated to discredit your success and non-monolithic thinking. You are trying to keep certain individuals from being slaves and NPC’s (non-player characters) to the system. You rose as a phoenix after your health issues and showed people there is always light at the end of the tunnel for people who struggle with mental health.

Finally, your meeting with President Trump will forever be legendary, make no mistake. You are not “mentally ill”, or “insane”. The (real) black community, those who have brain cells and are not hooked on fake news CNN or listen to Democratic leadership, love you and thank you for your courage. The love that you showed to President Trump is an example for the world and humanity. No matter a person’s political position there should always be love at the end of the day. You represent everything that politics should be and you’re not even a politician.

Make no mistake, you are a champion and a hero. No matter how you are demonized and labeled, there are many people of all race/ethnicity who agree and back you 100%. Mr. West, I am one of those individuals and I want to say thank you. This is my letter to you and God Bless you.

Sincerely,

Professor Ron
