You make great points. Women get labeled as well. As I mentioned in my piece false rape allegations are rare, but the stigmatization is real.

My whole point for writing this piece was more specifically about how people, particularly men, are labeled when it comes to sexual assault allegations.

I would argue this though, being slut shamed is bad, but no legal implications for the woman. Where as being deemed a sexual assaulter has legal consequences. So if these accusations turn out to be false the spoiling of an identity was all for naught.
